the day. Here is a run down of an emblematic day in Disha:

The day at Disha starts at 09:30 hours with the tiny tots
coming in. They say their prayers, get busy with their activities
and are then given wholesome tiffin. This is keeping in mind
that it is important to have a healthy body for a healthy
mind. This is the Balwadi of Disha from 09:30 -12:30 hours.

The Primary Section is from 13:00 hours to 15:30 hours. This
comprises the non-formal school along with remedial classes
for students of K.G. to class IV – Hindi and Bengali
sections. They are given wholesome tiffin before they leave.

The Evening ED Plus starts at 16:00 hours. It is replete with
co-curricular activities like yoga, dance, karate, singing,
art & craft etc till 17:00 hours. The remedial coaching
classes carry on from 17:00 hours till 18:30 hours.

Computer classes are held from 19:00 hours to 20:30 hours,
six days a week and also on Sunday mornings.

Embroidery classes are held on Wednesday and Saturday from
11:00 hours to 12:30 hours.
