Acknowledgements

Disha may have remained a dream had it not been for the constant love, encouragement and support of our well wishers and donors. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all of them. We are particularly grateful to the following:

• Mr. Pankaj Ganatra and Ms. Bhavna Ganatra who helped to give the garage space where the first classes were held.
• Lioness Rama Bhatia and her group of friends who helped in acquiring our permanent premises and also for arranging regular eye check-ups for the children.

• Helpers like Rosalie Giffoniello, of ‘Empower the Children’ of America who helped in training the teachers in the methods of Montessori teaching, Ash Mukherjee for donation of computers to start the computer programme, Robin Sukhadia of ‘Project Ahimsa’ (from U.S.A.) for giving musical instruments (to start of the music programme) and the salaries of the music teachers.
• Mrs. Pasari, and her friends of Karmyog, for supporting our Primary section.
